In April 2008, the 32 students in my Spanish 3 class completed the first annual re-creation of the El gran juego de la oca board. The students were required to come up with an original prueba that could be accomplished in a reasonable amount of time, and had to incorporate the future tense in the description of the mission. They also had to draw the Prueba being attempted by a contestant.

Students could earn extra credit by re-creating one of the special spaces (Restaurante Chino, Flequi, etc.) in a similar manner, or coming up with a second Prueba on another unoccupied space.
